So, Spring season starts today. Of course, time to think about greenery, outdoors and new spring fashion. When the season begins, I’m ready to spend more time outside. Spring is the season of opportunities. Although this Winter was fairly mild in the Boston area, I’m looking forward to being more active.

Spring Season Outdoor Activities

In other words, Spring takes on a new meaning to me. Time to get outdoors. If you’re thinking of being by a pool or beach, time to get beach body ready. Since I’m a walker, I enjoy getting on my treadmill and listening to music. At the Fitness Together location I go to, they have been promoting walking 10,000 steps. You may think that sounds like a lot, but if you start counting or wear a pedometer, you will see this adds up quickly. Below is a pedometer that is perfect for walking outdoors or anywhere that you walk at least 15 consecutive steps.

Spring Season Starts March 20th

On a nice day, walk a park, lake or beach. If the weather is rainy, walk indoors. A treadmill, indoor track or shopping mall provides indoor walking. Also, hike a trail this Spring. When you accomplish the peak or end of a trail, you will feel satisfied. If you’re a water lover, find an indoor pool to swim. In addition, stand-up paddle boarding has become a popular activity. Furthermore, this is a great exercise to work your core muscles and build up endurance. If you’re a nature lover, sight see. Also, some other great spring activities to try are:

Have you recently done an overhaul of your wardrobe? By the same token, have you done your spring cleaning. Are you happy to see the Winter go and ready to try some new things. Start by buying some fresh flowers for your home.
