Since many of Boston Sports Teams were in the playoffs this year; today’s post will recap how all of New England’s teams have fared this year. No doubt, Boston is one of the most exciting sports cities in the country.

Boston Sports Teams

First and foremost, all of the teams in Boston have won a championship in the last ten years. In the first place, the New England Patriots were in the Superbowl in February of 2018.

Although many New England Patriots fan’s were hoping they would win back-to-back super bowls; the Philadelphia Eagles beat them by a score of 41 – 33. To read more about this, be sure to visit my New England Patriots Super Bowl LII Loss post.

Consequently, the Boston Bruins recently lost in the Stanley Cup Playoffs to the Tampa Bay Lightening. To read more about this, visit my Boston Bruins Disappointing Loss post. Although the Bruins were eliminated, they are expected to be a contender for many years to come due to their strong core of youth in the minors.

And, the Boston Celtics made it to game 7 in the Eastern Conference finals, but lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers. So, both Gordon Hayward and Kyrie Irving have been inactive due to injuries; and, when they return to health next season, the Boston Celtics will be a force in the NBA.

Now it is baseball season and the Boston Red Sox as of today’s date are leading the MLB with the most wins. This year’s team is making last year’s offensive struggles a thing of the past. With Mookie Betts and J.D. Martinez’s home run power, these players are leading the league in various offensive categories.

Boston Sports Teams Future

To date, the Red Sox continue to lead the MLB in a lot of categories. Still, there is a lot of baseball left, but Boston fans can only hope for another World Series run.

In summary, many of Boston Sports Teams have young players who are gaining valuable experience. No doubt, Boston fans will have a lot to look forward to for many years to come.
