Playing a joke or tricking someone on April Fools Day is something fun and enjoyable. In fact, several times I’ve tricked family, friends, and my spouse with some joke or story.
April Fools Day Pranks
The idea of playing jokes and pranks is fun. In any event, pranks are known to be more successful in the morning. With this in mind, some top April Fools Day jokes and pranks are:
- Loosening a cap off of a salt or pepper jar.
- Faking a death – this has been done countless times by several media channels and I personally never have enjoyed that joke.
- Placing something underneath someone’s chair or seat – a whoopee cushion is a popular prank. See my shopping suggestion on buying a whoopee cushion below.
- Put something on their toothpaste – mayonnaise has been one used by many.
- Paint a bar of soap with nail polish. This is a popular one – make sure you have nail polish remover nearby.
- Pour something inside a showerhead. Make sure it is something that doesn’t do any permanent damage to someone’s eyesight.
- Also, put something funny in bathroom tissue that will be unrolled.
- Fake rodents, bugs, and spiders have been known to be put inside something – a handbag or garment as someone is getting dressed.
Some other fun pranks to consider are:
- Borrowing someone’s cell phone and changing the language setting to a foreign language.
- Swapping Men’s and Women’s Restroom signs. I laughed at this suggestion.
- Replacing oreo cookie filling with toothpaste. This is a popular prank that I’ve read about often.
- Changing the Push and Pull signs on a door.
- Add food coloring to someone’s windshield wiper fluid.
- Taking something from someone’s room or office and leaving a ransom note. This could be a fun thing to do for couples, roommates, or co-workers.
- Add several appointments to someone’s calendar with alarms set to go off on the outlook calendar. Make sure they are older appointments.
One joke I’ve played with several people is to tell them I was in an accident and go on and on and then after a while, I usually blurt out April fools day. I’ve also played jokes on several Business Associates throughout the years. Of course, no matter what you do, have fun with the joke or prank you come up with.
