November is a big sports month.  Though the MLB season is over, November is a big month for College and professional sports.  Since baseball season has ended, time for me to switch gear.

Big Sports Month

Usually in November I start to follow football scores weekly.  Also, I check Boston teams in the NBA and NHL.  Additionally, college sports are huge this month.  Of course, the NFL, NBA and NHL are in full swing.  In addition, November sports are:

MLB – Baseball

Baseball’s regular season and post season has ended.  Since my passion is the Boston Red Sox, I visit their website often.  I look forward to seeing any trades or new signings the team makes in the off-season.  Additionally, I look forward to seeing all the Winners of the various Baseball awards.  Of course, I hope many of the Red Sox players receive recognition for some of their work this past season.

NBA – Basketball

Due to the season just beginning, we can look forward to seeing the next 75 games approximately.  In a regular season all teams play 82 games with 41 games at home and 41 games away.  Though the Celtics made the playoffs last year, this is a new year.  All in all, the Celtics need to work on their rebounds.  According to Amir Johnson, once the team works on this, they will become an elite defensive team.  For the Celtics, they need to work on not giving teams a second chance in scoring opportunities.

NFL – Football

Now that Tom Brady is back, will the Patriots defeat the Buffalo Bills?  Of course, the Patriots won.  Also, it was nice to see them take control of the game from the start.  As the Patriots head into a bye week, they are sitting with the best record in the NFL.

NHL – Hockey

Though my Husband is a Season Ticket Holder for the Boston Bruins, hockey is not a sport I enjoy.  When my Husband has taken me a game, I bring ear plugs.  For me, the noise is unbearable.  Even with the ear plugs, my ears ring hours later.  Hockey is a sport that players whiz by the ice and I find it hard to follow the puck throughout the game play.  Furthermore, I don’t like the number of fights that occur during a game.

Team Spirit

If your going to a game, wear your team’s colors.  In conclusion, show your personality during this big sports month.  What sports do you follow?
