Because I’m excited about the dip powder manicure nail trend, today’s post is going to inspire you to try this. In the first place, a dip powder manicure will last three weeks.
Dip Powder Manicure
So, what I like most about this manicure is it actually lasts. If you work with your hands a lot, this dip powder lasts longer than a regular or gel manicure. In the same fashion, a dip powder manicure is much healthier than the UV rays coming from a gel manicure.
In the same way, you dip your nails into various jars. As you’re dipping your nails into the powder and sealant, your nails are lasting longer and also stronger.
Creative Nail Design
Because I’m a fan of fun nails designs, what I like about a powder manicure, is design’s can be painted on with either shellac or regular nail polish. Visit my prior Creative Nail Design post for inspiration. Of course, you can still express your personality by having fun nail art on your nails.
In addition, nail art is fun and eye-catching. Hence, it is important to have the right Nail Technician in keeping your nails healthy.
Pros and Cons
In the past, the trend has been towards gel manicures. Now, the hype is for dip powder nail manicures. The pros of having this, is it lasts at least three weeks. Also, it reduces your time in having weekly manicures. Additionally, it is healthier than a gel manicure.
For me, I have done both regular and dip powder manicures and find my nails stronger. Also, I like the idea of not having to polish my nails weekly.
The cons of having this is to make sure your Nail salon is using good products and knows how to remove the powder. Furthermore, the removal process is similar to a gel manicure. Your nails are filed down with an electric file and an acetate soak-off is used to remove the polish.
While the dip powder process won’t hurt your nails, it is time-consuming. Because it won’t hurt your regular nails, I recommend having a dip powder manicure.
Conclusion
To sum up, I go to Posh Nails near my home, which provides professional service, a cool vibe and great professional nail technicians.
As always, I welcome your comments. Have you had a dip powder manicure? Did you like it? Dislike it? In conclusion, I look forward to your thoughts on this hot manicure trend.
