Gordon Hayward’s deal is for a four-year contract worth approximately $128 million. Because Hayward and Stevens went to the NCAA in 2010 and 2011, they have the chance to make magic happen in Boston.
At the same time Hayward was considered one of the top free agents available other than Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry. Although Utah has been a contender, they are out shined by the Golden State Warriors. Because the Warriors won championships the last 2 out of 3 years, Hayward thought he needed to make a change to be in the NBA Finals.
