Grammys White Roses Fashion Statement

So black was the color of fashion styles for the Golden Globes; White Roses were prevalent in support of Time’s up at the 2018 Grammys.

So this years Grammy show is once again hosted by James Corden of The Late Late Show. Since James was a hit as last year’s host; he was invited back as this year’s host. Indeed, James love of music and humor should provide good entertainment for the 60th Grammy Show.

Moreover, the Grammys will come from Madison Square Garden this year. Hence, this is the first time in 15 years that the show is coming from New York.

Since I love the fashion part of the show; I turned in to E – Live Red Carpet a few hours before the start of the show.

Time’s Up

As a year that sexual harassment and assault were brought to the fore front of the entertainment industry; Time’s Up message is for solidarity. Not only is Time’s Up about the entertainment industry; but also for every Woman who has had to deal with sexual harassment and abuse.

First and foremost, Time’s Up is committed to eradicate sexual abuse and harassment across the country. First and foremost, they hope to make the workplace equal and safe for all Women.

White Roses Fashion Statement

When those in the entertainment industry were requested to wear a White Rose; they were happy to wear this as a statement that symbolizes hope, peace, resistance and sympathy.

As seen below, many came together once again wearing white roses. Many individuals wore white roses on their shoulder and wrist. In addition, many carried a white rose proudly as an accessory.

In the same fashion, this year’s fashion statement is calling for all Artist’s to wear a White Rose in support of gender equality. Of course, we will see all kinds of outlandish fashions on the red carpet; but we will see White Roses and a Time’s Up button worn as well.

Consequently, like the Golden Globes; I decided to forgo the Best and Worst Dressed fashion styles. For me, I once again felt this year is about an important message of solidarity worldwide.

By wearing White Roses, many Artists continued to show their support of standing together for the Time’s Up movement. In summary, the message at this year’s award shows continue to resonate with people everywhere.
