MAFS Boston decision day, Season 14 aired on Wednesday, May 11th. After last season, none of the couples ended up staying married. And, prior to that season, only one couple stayed together. So, let’s take a look at decision day.
MAFS Boston Decision Day Season 14
When this season started, I always look forward to watching Kevin Frazier’s pre-season predictions. And, this season, there was a mixed bag it the couples would stay married or get a divorce. Check out my MAFS Boston Spoilers – Meet the Couples January 2022 post.
So, it seems like this season has had a lot of ups and downs. However, the big day is now here.
In the beginning, Alyssa and Chris never spent the night together. And, from night one; it went downhill quickly and Chris decided after 2 weeks to get a divorce.
Married or Divorced
Since the eight weeks is over; it’s time to see if each couple decided to stay married or get a divorce.
- Jasmina and Michael – So, they were the first couple. And, though they have come a long way since the first month; Jasmina tells Michael she doesn’t feel as if she really knows him. However, she wants to continue to get to know him and stay married. Michael tells Jasmina he feels they can be further along without the cameras. He hopes to continue to grow their relationship. So, off they go to stay married.
- Olajuwon and Katina – Olajuwon has been extremely critical in their journey. In my opinion, this couple seemed like they had a lot of chemistry and fun. However, there seem to be issues if their paths were aligned for the long term. One issue is Olajuwon wants a traditional wife and Katina is still finishing up her education as well as working full time. Katina tells Olajuwon she wants to continue to get to know him since 8 weeks isn’t enough time. Next, Olajuwon has everyone guessing. Though he says he told the experts early on; he wanted someone more established; he says their relationship has led him to say he would be crazy to walk away. So, he tells Katina he wants to continue on their journey.
MAFS Boston Decision Day Season 14 – Last Couples
- Steve and Noi – In my opinion, this couple seemed poised right from the beginning to stay married. When Steve enters; he hands a gorgeous bouquet of roses to Noi. So, they start out talking about their relationship and their feelings Though they both dropped the “L” word; there seems to be some question marks remaining on what they each contribute to the relationship. First, Steve says he definitely wants to stay married. Next, Noi also says she wants to stay married.
- Lindsey and Mark – Finally, Lindsey and Mark are the last couple. Though many people didn’t think this couple would last; I was surprised they decided to stay married. On decision day, Lindsey and Mark talk about their good times as well as some of the issues they have had. So, Mark tells Lindsey he thinks he has grown a lot and she tricks him, but ultimately says “yes”.
Were the Experts Right or Wrong in their Matches
In the last several season, many of the couples matched by the experts decided to get a divorce. Though a few said they wanted to stay married on decision day; they have since divorced.
