Eat outside today! Since today is the last day of the month, make sure you head outdoors to eat lunch, snacks or dinner. Are you ready to take your meal outside today?
National Eat Outside
In the first place, this non- holiday is about wanting everyone to get outside. Whether you step outside for some fresh air today or take lunch or dinner outdoors; soak up the sun today.
Since park benches and umbrellas are up at restaurants everywhere; take advantage of enjoying the weather before colder temperatures arrive. No doubt, Al Fresco dining offers you the opportunity to people watch while leisurely enjoying your meal. No matter what part of the country you live in, there are sidewalk tables, chairs and benches to soak up the sun and do a little sight-seeing.
Not only is Al Fresco dining ideal for lunch, but also is another option for getting your friends together to dine and drink.
Celebrate Eat Outside Day
Obviously, there are plenty of places to eat you meal outside. However, if you’re looking for some fun ways to celebrate this unofficial holiday, consider the following ideas.
- If you have a park or beach nearby, pack a picnic and share it with your coworkers, friends and family.
- In my opinion, there is nothing like grilling outside in the Summertime. And, if you have a grill you can easily transport, take this to a park and invite others to join you. If you’re transporting a grill, don’t forget dessert. For a fun and easy dessert, visit my National S’mores Day post.
- Since many individuals tend to eat at their desk or in the cafeteria, don’t eat inside today. Change things up and get outside and enjoy your lunch break on a park bench or find a restaurant that has outdoor seating.
As always, I welcome your comments on what you will be doing to celebrate eating outside today.
