The fifteenth annual Jimmy Fund Red Sox telethon will take place, Monday, August 29th, and Tuesday, August 30th. Since 2002, the annual WEEI/NESN telethon presented by Arbella Mutual Insurance is hosted in support of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
Together with the Boston Red Sox over the 29th and 30th, we will hear compelling stories from:

- Nurses
- Researchers
- Celebrity Guests

Jimmy Fund Co-Captains
Every year, the Boston Red Sox have two team players serve as Jimmy Fund Co-Captains. Brock Holt and Pablo Sandoval will be the 2016 Co-Captains. In addition to attending fundraising events, Holt and Sandoval will visit patients.
By bringing support to the patients and awareness of cancer to many, their efforts will go a long way. In addition, Holt and Sandoval will encourage fans to step up to the plate. Some of the signature events they will attend are:
- Jimmy Fund Little League.
- John Hancock Fantasy Fenway day.
- Rally for the Jimmy Fund – Presented by Sully’s brand.
- Boston Red Sox/Jimmy Fund license plates – show your colors by buying a license plate.
- WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon – presented by Arbella Insurance.
Since 1953, the Boston Red Sox have supported health for the Jimmy Fund organization.
2016 Telethon
Last year’s telethon raised over three million dollars. Coupled with the performance of the Red Sox, they hope to raise more money this year. Furthermore, every dollar helps by providing more research and medical care to beat this disease.
In fact this baseball season, Arbella Insurance Foundation will make a $50.00 gift to the WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund telethon by every strikeout by a Boston pitcher.

Help the Jimmy Fund eradicate cancer. Since 2002, this event has raised more than 40 million dollars in supporting pediatric and adult cancer at Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
