The 16th Annual Red Sox Jimmy Fund Telethon will take place tomorrow, August 15th and August 16th. Since we all know someone who has suffered from cancer, it is important to offer your support to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

In the first place, this event over the next two days will feature stories from Doctors, Researchers, Nurses and Patients. As we hear personal stories, it is important we donate what we can in the fight against cancer.
Arbella Insurance Foundation
In the same way, this annual WEEI/NESN event is sponsored by the Arbella Insurance Foundation. For Arbella, they are happy to offer to sponsor this event. Because so many people have been impacted by cancer, they want to continue to do what they can. One of the goals of the foundation is to increase donations to eradicate this disease.
To date, Arbella Insurance has donated $456,000 to the Jimmy Fund and Dana Farber Cancer Institute. So this year they will give $50.00 for every strike out by a Red Sox Pitcher and $5.00 for each like on Facebook.
Dana Farber Cancer Institute
The Dana Farber Cancer Institute is a leader in Adult and Pediatric cancer research and treatment. Furthermore, the Dana Farber has more than 750 clinical trials a year. Since we all hope to eradicate this disease, it is important to donate. Your support goes a long way in finding a cure for this disease.
